Eisenhower Offers Robotic Surgery for Partial Knee Resurfacing
At age 46, George Segala wasn’t as mobile as he would like; he suffered from post-traumatic arthritis. Thanks to a new minimally invasive surgery for patients who suffer with early to mid-stage osteoarthritis of the knee, Segala’s life has changed. On November 17, Segala was the first patient at Eisenhower Medical Center to undergo the minimally invasive MAKOplasty® procedure.
